WOMEN'S COMMITTEE: LAS MARIPOSAS

Keila S. Espinosa is a DBA Director and the Chair of the Women's Committee. This committee shall (A) provide Latina women with a community dedicated to mentoring, leadership development and special events focused on promoting and supporting women within the legal and (B) perform such other tasks as the Board may request.
Keila is a native New Yorker who currently resides in Manhattan though she still considers herself a “Bronx girl”. She is a Staff Attorney at The Legal Aid Society in the Housing Unit. She graduated from New York Law School where she was a member of the Moot Court Association and the Center for Business and Financial Law. During her law school career, Keila was heavily involved with the various minority law student associations.
The Women’s Committee: Las Mariposas was founded in 2017 by DBA President Vianny M. Pichardo and named Las Mariposas in honor of the iconic Mirabal sisters.
